Ms. Laura

My name is Laura Hernandez and I have been a Teacher since I was 18 years old. I fell in love with this profession during my very first experience in the field of Teaching in Columbia, my home country. I am a graduate of the SENA Higher Education, where I obtained my Certification in Physical Education and Dance.

During my years of experience I have had the opportunity to share with coworkers who have contributed significantly to my career and growth as a professional. I am always willing to share my knowledge and learn from others. Working with different age groups of children from 2 years old to 11 years of age I have been fortunate to see the growth students go through.

Beyond educating students, it brings me joy to see them believe in themselves and discover everything they are capable of doing.

I have a wonderful family; my mother, father and my sister! They are my reason for being and I will always be grateful to them as they have taught me to always follow my dreams. I love dancing and sports, going for walks and observing landscapes. I have a deep respect for mother nature and I love admiring its beauty. I like to prepare home cooked meals and I am always looking for something new to do.
